The #CheckItForAndretti campaign is promoting colorectal cancer screenings

March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, and UHSM (Unite Health Share Ministries), a faith-based health care nonprofit in Orange County, is partnering with Andretti Motorsports, part of Andretti Autosport, the global racing enterprise that boasts over 200 total race wins, in a joint effort to raise awareness for colon cancer, for the Steer Clear of Cancer Campaign.

Racecar driver John Andretti went public with his fight against colon cancer by launching the #CheckIt4Andretti campaign to spread the importance of colorectal cancer screenings. Now, a year after his passing, UHSM and the Andretti family are humbled to continue John's shared goal of spreading awareness of cancer screenings to promote early detection and treatment. John's son Jarett and UHSM President Christopher Jin discuss community initiatives to encourage the public to Steer Clear of Cancer in his honor.
