At just 39 years old, Nick Moore was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. He's now spreading awareness by encouraging people to get an early cancer screening. He told The Wake Up Call that the one thing he keeps hearing from doctors is that "people under 40 years old are developing colon cancer at a higher rate than they ever have".

Nick stressed that its important to start the process of screening now, because it could take months from the start to when you actually get your results. There's been a backlog of people who didn't get their screenings done due to the pandemic.

Nick continues to keep his spirits high and credits his support system, including his beautiful wife, their families, and his work family NASCAR. Nick is focused on kicking cancer's butt and celebrating that victory at NASCAR's Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum in February 2023.
