After nearly year of being shut down, Disneyland California Adventure Park announced Monday that they’ll be bringing back 1,000 cast members in mid-March for a "limited-time ticketed experience.”
In a letter sent to cast members, Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock announced the "distinctly Disney experience” in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of Disney California Adventure Park, according to GMA.
The actual date has not yet been set, and the park’s many attractions will not be open, but the experience will highlight the park’s "world-famous food and beverage offerings from around the resort, the latest merchandise and unique, carefully crafted entertainment experiences."
Potrock stated that the experience offer "limited capacity" and "enhanced safety measures" and "be offered multiple days a week."
Disney California Adventure Park has been closed since March 14, 2020. It was originally scheduled to reopen in July but, due to rising COVID-19 cases that never happened.
Downtown Disney District recently began allowing outdoor dining on Buena Vista Street, following the lift of Los Angeles area's stay-at-home order in late January.
"Teams are working as we speak to start recalling identified vast in the coming weeks," Potrock said.
Disney California Adventure Park has been closed since March 14, 2020. It was originally supposed to reopen in July but, due to rising COVID-19 cases, it never reopened.
