Thirteen has turned out to be a lucky number for current “Jeopardy” champion Matt Amodio.

On Friday, Amodio notched his 13th consecutive win on the long-running game show and secured his spot as the 5th highest winner of all-time (in regular-season play) with earnings now reaching $430,200.

Excluding tournaments, it puts the Yale graduate student behind “Jeopardy!” GOAT Ken Jennings ($2,520,700), James Holzhauer ($2,462,216), Jason Zuffranieri ($532,496) and David Madden ($430,400).

Amodio is humbled by becoming a member of the "Jeopardy!" Hall of Fame.

“I can’t believe it,” he told Cleveland.com. “In summary, I’m no Ken Jennings or James Holzhauer, so for there to be any list that starts with them and eventually gets to me is mind-boggling. Ideally, I would just hope to make them proud of me.”

On Monday, the 30-year-old could see himself move up to the 4th spot as he only needs $201 to beat Madden’s winnings of $430,400.

Earlier this week, Amodio almost blew his streak after betting $37,000 during the “Final Jeopardy!” round and getting the question wrong. The two other contestants also failed to come up with the correct answer, so he still wound up winning in the end.

His 13-day winning streak has seen Amodio compete amid celebrity guest hosts such as Robin Roberts, LeVar Burton, and David Faber. Starting on Monday, sportscaster Joe Buck will take over the reins behind the podium.

As far as permanent host, Mike Richards, the game show’s executive producer, is said to be in advanced negotiations to take over as the master of ceremonies, reported Variety.

While nothing has been made official, a Sony Pictures spokesman said talks were ongoing with several different potential candidates.
