In a case of "believe it or not," a man in Japan was just recently arrested for DUI after flying his drone drunk.
According to SoraNews24, the 56-year-old man drank eight beers between 7am and noon early last month when while cleaning his house, he found his old drone and decided to take it out for a spin.
Well, he promptly crashed it into a neighbor's window, who called the police. Upon their arrival, the man admitted to drinking and droning, and was immedaitely arrested for violation of Japan's Civil Aeronautics Act.
It's unclear how the man is going to be punished, since it's the country's first arrest of its kind, though it's been reported offenders could face fines up to around $2,700.
