First the bad news: Unfortunately, the Red Hot Chili Peppers will no longer be performing this Saturday, December 9 at KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, CA due to an unspecified injury suffered by a member of the band that will have them sidelined for six weeks.

In a post on their social channels, the band shared, "It is with deep regret that we will not be able to perform this weekend at KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas. A band member was injured, preventing us from being able to perform for at least 6 weeks. However, RHCP and KROQ are excited to make it up to you on March 2nd 2024 at The Forum. So, have a great time this weekend and hang on to your ticket."

The good news is that the Chili Peppers have instead promised to make it up to ticket purchasers by performing at KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas Encore, scheduled for March 2, 2024, again at the Kia Forum.

Newly-announced headliners 311, as well as The Offspring, Garbage, Portugal. The Man, Bleachers, Cannons, Lovejoy, Bakar, and The Beaches are all still on deck for this weekend's (12/9) concert. Original ticket buyers will be contacted with more details. Information can be found HERE for those who would prefer a refund.

The best news here however, would be the Red Hot Chili Peppers' newly-announced string of 2024 tour dates to support 2022’s two number-one albums -- Return of the Dream Canteen and Unlimited Love -- and they're taking along a bunch of amazing special guests with them including Kid Cudi, Ice Cube, Otoboke Beaver, IRONTOM, and more to open on select dates.
