Dave and Tom Show (Dave Scott and Tom Turner) Tom and I had the pleasure of doing the morning show from September 1990 to May 1993.

Favorite KGON Memory: The week we lived up on the roof of the Clackamas Fred Meyer to raise food for the Salvation Army.  The weather played along (except for one morning around 2AM when gale force winds and torrential rains almost blew our campsite and broadcast booth off the roof.  We reached our goal of 9200 pounds of food.

Favorite KGON Event: Loved the Mayors Ball.  Mayor Bud Clark  (RIP) hosted 77 bands in the Portland Coliseum.  MTV showed up to cover it.  National coverage for some of Portland’s best bands like Johnny and the Distractions, Dan Reed Network, The Bluebinos, Curtis Salgaldo.  We also loved all the Pre-Concert parties.  Not only did we get to hang out with the KGON community but walked away with free tickets to some of the best shows including ZZ Top, Van Halen (with Sammy Hagar)  and Pearl Jam  (first ever show in Portland at the Roseland)
