What did you do here? On air, 8p-1am, 3p - 8pm then 6a-10am. That's when I became PD of KGON and OM for KGON and KSGO (oldies)! OM from summer 85 until I left for Miami in spring 87
Favorite KGON Event? Rose Festival Fireworks, KGON giving away his and hers Porsche’s
Favorite KGON memory? 1) Being part of such a legendary station, working with IRIS, Mike Turner, Marty Party… 2) When I stepped down from mornings, we got the go ahead to rehire Iris and Turner for mornings. That was a big deal…3) giving away his and hers Porsche’s after Ackerley bought the stations…4) I had a ski pass to Meadows, when I was doing afternoons, I loved how I could drive up to the mountain on a beautiful weekday morning, come home for lunch, do my show and post-show production, then out on the town. Loved that life.
