How many years did you work at KISW? 2 and 1/2
What position(s) did you work at KISW? Avenging Annie, traffic goddess / co-host / weekend DJ
What are your three greatest memories at KISW?
1. Having "debriefs" with Kampy (Jim Kampmann) and drinking his very strong "bureau blend" coffee.
2. Playing on-air with Steve Slaton.
3. Getting weekly music lessons from Dan Wilke, when he'd come in for his Saturday shift, following mine. Each week he'd pull out one of his favorite records and play a new tune for me.
What's a story you couldn't tell people back in the day? Stump Slaton was totally rigged and all of the calls came from inside the building.
What band were you most proud to bring to a bigger audience? Crowded House
How has Seattle changed the most? Way too expensive to live in on a regular person's salary.
What's something you never thought you'd see? The I-90 floating bridge sinking into Lake Washington.
What's your best memory of meeting a rock star? Huddling around Paul Simon after his concert at the Tacoma Dome. I didn't think I'd get to meet him, then at the last minute I could! I said something stupid to him, but was still thrilled.
Who was your best friend at the station back in the day? Jon Ballard
Name a KISW band you still love! The Police, Del Amitri, Heart, Peter Murphy
Favorite concert from your time at KISW? Paul McCartney at the Kingdome
