You know I have done a few quarantine covers in the past year. Mostly, I just miss live music. I miss getting together with friends and jamming out at a practice space, and most of all, I just miss music.
Lucky for us, a lot of awesome new projects, collaborations, and music has come from 2020. And some friends of mine are killing it with their band Alter Apex! First off, not only did they start their band in quarantine, but they wrote an entire EP, released a bunch of music videos of their original music, and now are even tackling some quarantine covers. Yep, let's get to it. THEY COVERED MEGADETH "Symphony of Destruction"!
How freaking awesome is that? Now as I mentioned, these guys have been friends of mine for a long time. A LONG TIME. And I am so proud of them for creating new music, new content, and just generally keeping rock alive.
If you wanna check out their original stuff, which I highly suggest as they are influenced by some bands you may have heard of before such as Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, you know, just a couple of small Seattle bands. But seriously, check out their sound, I think you might love it.
