The 63-year-old actress shared the “bittersweet” tribute upon completing her part in “Halloween Ends.”

“A bittersweet END for me on the Halloween movies. I've made great friends and have collaborated with wonderful artists on these three movies and today my part in the film has been completed and with it the END for me of this trilogy,” Curtis captioned a black and white slideshow of images from the set. “It's all because of the fans who have always supported me and more importantly, Laurie.”

After thanking the various production companies and studios involved in the film, Curtis also shouted out her “Strode Strong women” co-stars Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, and Kyle Richards. She also didn’t forget to give some love to her “nemesis” James Jude Courtney, who plays the legendary masked killer Michael Myers.

“I love this crew and cast and I will miss you all,” she added. “We can't wait for the fans to see the movie.”

Curtis first played Laurie Strode in the 1978 original film “Halloween.” She reprised the role in the 1981 sequel “Halloween II.” After stepping away from the franchise, Curtis returned for “Halloween H20: 20 Years Later” in 1998 and “Halloween: Resurrection” in 2002.

While the Hollywood vet didn’t appear in Rob Zombie’s two sequels, Curtis revived Strode for David Gordon Green’s “Halloween” reboot in 2018 and “Halloween Kills” in 2021.

Earlier this year, Curtis marked the beginning of filming on the latest sequel by sharing a mirror selfie decked out in full on Laurie Strode regalia. She captioned the snap, “OLD DOG NEW TRICKS,” with a knife emoji slicing right in the middle of the phase.

While it’s unclear if there will be more films in the franchise, Curtis appears to be done with being chased by Michael Myers.

“Halloween Ends” is set to hit theaters on October 14, 2022.
