It’s always a treat to find out what music gives another artist the same feelings their own work brings to their legions of fans. Not only does it show their influences, but you usually get a nice playlist out of it too.

Singer Billie Eilish recently did just that, revealing nine of her favorite songs of the year to Australia’s triple j during their annual, fan-voted special The Hottest 100.

Listen to your favorite music now on RADIO.COM.

Billie's picks were: The Strokes’ "At The Door," James Blake‘s "Are You Even Real?," Phoebe Bridgers‘ "Savior Complex," Jorja Smith‘s "By Any Means," and Dominic Fike‘s "Chicken Tenders," as well as Drake‘s "Time Flies," Cyn's "Drinks," Tekno's "Kata" and Bruno Major's "To Let A Good Thing Die."

Billie was extra about New York band The Strokes’ "At The Door," saying she'd like to put their latest album The New Abnormal as her first choice.

“It’s been my favorite album in many years,” she admits. “There is something about The Strokes, I don’t know what it is, man. I love ‘At The Door’, I love the melodies, I love the lyrics, I love everything about it. The Strokes hit a nerve.”

Speaking with RADIO.COM's New Arrivals, Strokes singer Julian Casablancas recently dropped hints that his other band, The Voidz, will have new music for fans by the end of the year, and spoke of his own collaboration wishlist.

Prior to that, Casablancas likely shocked some fans when admitting he's not really up to perform some of the songs that made The Strokes a household name. Good news I guess for Billie, who's really into their new record.
