The Kansas House has approved a redistricting map that has Kansas City area Democrats claiming gerrymandering.

The proposal takes the northern half of Wyandotte County out of Congresswoman Charice Davids, (D-KS), district.

The map now goes to the governor for her signature.  However, should she veto the bill, Republicans have a supermajority that would be enough to override it.
