“My uncle, uncle Ignatious Muscarella is probably my number one fan,” Russell told Sabrina with pride. “Like, probably more than my wife [Kailey]. He doesn’t hold back, [dresses] head to toe RD! He has RD socks on, hat, shirt, sweatshirt, everything! My guy!!”
“He made [a sign], that’s his pride and joy — his ‘LI [Long Island] hearts RD’ sign. Every Jones beach show, he’s there on top of the car, driving around. He’s a proud uncle and it makes me happy!”
Uncle I (as we lovingly refer to him) has a lot to be proud of if you ask us as Russell recently wrapped being on tour with Tim McGraw and currently has Country charts on fire with his single “She Likes It” featuring Jake Scott.
“This was the second song we [Jake & I] ever wrote together and as we’re finding out, [writing together] turned out to be magic,” Russell shared. “I was like, ‘Why wouldn’t we put this song out together? He’s got his fans, I’ve got mine. Why would we not just make it a collab?’”
Turns out there’s even more new music to come from Russ as he teases he’s finished recording his next album, but that’s about all the details he’s spilling for now!”
“I’m done recording, so I can tell you that. There’s a whole slew of jams on the way!”
