ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Three large donations have increased the reward for information that finds the killer of retired police Capt. David Dorn from $10,000 to $40,000.
The Dowd Bennett Law Firm donated $15,000, Ameren Illinois added $10,000 and Ameren Illinois President and Chairman Richard Mark is giving $5,000.

If you know something about what happened at the pawnshop in north St. Louis where Capt. David Dorn was murdered, there could be a big reward for you.
CrimeStoppers in St. Louis is asking anyone with information on the murder to call 1-866-371-8477. The if the tip leads to an arrest, there's a reward up to $10,000 available.
It happened in front of Lee’s Pawn & Jewelry and Dorn, 77, was found dead on the sidewalk around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday. Police say no arrests have been made in the case yet.
Dorn, who was retired from the police force would often check on the store for a friend if alarms went off. Police say he was shot by a "looter" during a violent night and early morning around St. Louis.
