ST. LOUIS (KMOX) — The future of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch building on North Tucker has been made clear, and it could mean more jobs for downtown St. Louis.
Square, co-founded by St. Louisans Jack Dorsey and Jim McKelvey, will be moving into the building. It will allow the mobile payments company to more than double its workforce because of the increased space.

July 29, 2019 It will bring 800 jobs to downtown St. Louis, with room to expand to as much as 1,400 jobs, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Square currently occupies space in the Cortex building in the Central West End and has 500 employees there.
As for the P-D, its moving from its longtime home to 901 North 10th Street next month. It has occupied the building at 900 North Tucker since 1959.
