Judy Garland's dress from 'Meet Me in St. Louis' on display in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - A cinematic treasure is on display in St. Louis at the Missouri History Museum.
The iconic red velvet dress worn by Judy Garland in MGM's 1944 classic 'Meet Me in St. Louis' is on display in the World's Fair Gallery at the Missouri History Museum now through Jan. 1, 2020.
The dress is on loan to the Missouri History Museum from the collection of Mary Strauss.
Judy Garland wore this red velvet dress when she sang “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” in the 1944 classic.
Inside the gown is a label that reads “1317 — Judy Garland” and an “MHM Wardrobe” stamp.
