PHOTOS: Brett Hull's Clayton mansion asking price lowered to $2.7 million

CLAYTON, Mo. (KMOX) - Going into its third year on the market, the St. Louis home of Hockey Hall of Famer Brett Hull is still looking for a buyer.
Realtor.com recently updated the price of the 10,472-square-foot mansion, located just west of Forest Park and says it's been reduced to $2,795,000. When the home was first listed in 2016, the asking price was $3,775,000.
The Blues all-time leader in goals first purchased it in 2014 and began a $2 million renovation.
Listed agent Wayne Norwood told realtor.com the mansion was originally built in 1912 and the "current owners purchased the residence in 2014 and undertook massive renovations, bringing a vision with every modern convenience and luxury appointment, and a functional age of only five years old.
"The estate has been transformed into an all-new residence," Norwood says.
The home sits on 1.7 acres of land, with four bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a wine room, multiple entertaining rooms, a formal dining room, and a redone chef’s kitchen featuring bar seating and a dining nook.
Hull won his third career Stanley Cup this season with the Blues, after winning Cups with both Dallas and Detroit.
