ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - A few members of the St. Louis Cardinals were out spending time with some young fans at a number of local hospitals before Tuesday's game against the Pittsburg Pirates.

As the Cards are known to do from time to time, some players and coaches went to St. Louis Children's Hospital to spend time with patients. The hospital posted some photos of manager Mike Shildt, pitcher Andrew Miller and rookie infielder Tommy Edman with patients.
They also delivered some Cardinals Build-a-Bear toys to the kids:
The Cardinals shared a video of pitcher Jack Flaherty, who is starting tonight's 7:15 p.m. game, hanging out with one young patient and saying hi to his mom over the phone:
