ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - A Downtown St. Louis bar, that has been the scene for frequent problems, including shootings, and repeated pandemic violations is closing it's door after New Years Eve.
In a facebook posting, Wheelhouse says, "we are endlessly grateful to everyone who walked through our doors the last 11 years and made Wheelhouse what it was.
To our incredible team, past and present, thank you for turning this place into more than just a bar. It was a home."
The post goes on to thank the community for supporting "a locally owned business and creating an energy that was truly unmatched.
The friendships and shared moments will stay with us forever." They will be open next weekend and New Years Eve saying they have a few more memories to make 😏."
Wheelhouse did not give a reason for the closure.
