Ferguson, Mo. (KMOX) - Four children and one woman have been found dead following a Ferguson house fire.
St. Louis County Police Sergeant Tracy Panus says based on evidence found at the scene Monday morning, this could be a potential criminal investigation, "We don't really know the circumstances of what occurred here, but we are investigating. We've got our regional bomb and arson squad here, our crimes against persons unit, and our crime scene unit."
The call came in around 4:30 Monday morning, sending Ferguson fire crews to the 500 block of North Clay. A neighbor said it took firefighters until around 6:00 to finally extinguish the blaze.
They found flames shooting out of the top floor of a two-story home.
