ST. LOUIS, MO (KMOX) - Harris-Stowe State University told students and staff to avoid campus until further notice due to a bomb threat on Tuesday. The threat has since been cleared by police.
"HSSU DPS, and local and state law enforcement agencies searched all campus facilities and have issued an all-clear. It is safe to return to campus," the school stated on its website.

The school is among a number of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) who were the targets of bomb threats.
Detection dogs were going from building to building. Investigators tell KMOX nothing has been found.
A message on the school's website declares an "Emergency Alert Update" and asks, "Do not report to campus."
Other HBCUs across the country have reportedly received threats since the start of Black History Month, including Howard University in Washington D.C., Southern University, A&M College in Baton Rouge, Bethune-Cookman University, Albany State University, Bowie State University and Delaware State University.
On Monday, a bomb threat forced the evacuation of St. Louis City Hall.
