ST. LOUIS - The Great Flood of 1993 was one of the most devastating and costly floods to ever take place in American history.
It's been 30 years since the floods occurred, damaging $15 billion of property throughout the majority of the Midwest, and killing 32 people, ravaging for five months.
While the floods left disaster and devastation in its wake and grim memory for many, it helped strengthen the small community of Kimmswick, Missouri.
KMOX's Stuart McMillan continues our series of remember the floods 30 years later and talk to local Kimmswick residents about how the floods united 200 plus residents and countless volunteers to saved it from certain ruin.
