
FLORISSANT, Mo. (KMOX) - Police say a juvenile male with a loaded gun was arrested at McCluer High School. They say they received a tip that a student had let a non-student into the building Friday morning.
The boy was taken into custody by a Florissant Police School Resource Officer’s and school administration, according to police. A loaded handgun was found on the juvenile.
Police say the school was put on lockdown after the resource officer received the tip. The case is being referred to St. Louis County Family Court.
"We remain committed and working with our School Districts in order to keep our schools a safe and secure learning environment," police stated. "This incident continues to show the great working relationship that our school resource officers have with school administration."
