ST. LOUIS, MO (KMOX) - At the end of 2020, KMOX Virtual Consumer Editor and investigative reporter Megan Lynch examined the impact the COVID pandemic and resulting recession was having on women. What she learned was that women were being disproportionately impacted by the economic upheaval and having to make difficult family decisions.
We are honored the Alliance for Women in Media is recognizing her work with a 2021 Gracie Award.
What she and KMOX have learned in follow up stories since our initial series, is that women are still struggling to recover, many still absent from the work force. We will continue to cover this issue that impacts so many of our listeners and their families.
Below you will find a link to each part of Lynch's Gracie Award winning series "The COVID Recession - Worse for Women"
