JENNINGS, MO (KMOX) - St. Louis County Police say a man in a motorized wheelchair was struck by a vehicle and killed Friday night in Jennings.
Police were called to the 9400 block of Halls Ferry around 9:30 pm. Investigators believe the victim was trying to cross the road when he was struck. The vehicle involved fled the scene.
The victim was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call County Police or Crimestoppers at 866-371-TIPS.
