Pilot stuck after small plane crashes in Lincoln County, Missouri

The pilot isn't hurt, but cannot get out of the plane, which is about 70 feet off the ground in the trees.

MOSCOW MILLS, Mo. (KMOX) — A plane has reportedly crashed in the treetops of Lincoln County west of Moscow Mills.

Rescue crews were called at around 9 a.m. Thursday to Wolf Creek Road, near Highway U between Highways J and 785.


The Missouri Highway Patrol tells KMOX the pilot isn't hurt, but is stuck in the trees 70 feet above ground and cannot get out of the plane.

Officials are working on getting the proper crew and equipment to rescue the pilot.
