
ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - One St. Louis alderman is frustrated with the state of driving in the city after the cancellation of a popular St. Louis night time bike event.
On Saturday, St. Louis officials had to cancel the Moonlight Ramble bicycle ride had to be canceled as as hundreds of riders were already near the "start-finish" line.
Event organizers says that they deemed the bicycle route to be unsafe for riders during a final route check, with blame towards a third-party security company not doing its part in securing the route, along with drivers moving barricades.
Many of the attendees were frustrated, along St. Louis 4th Ward Alderman Michael Browning, who says that he blames the reckless driving of the city for the cancellation of the event, along with the third-party security company on social media.
Browning joined Total Information A.M. to discuss the comments he made on X, formerly known as Twitter, along with why he feels that St. Louis isn't doing a good job with handling reckless driving.
