A St. Louis County Library program that's been running since 2017 continues to teach teens how to code.

The Coding 101 class is free and meets twice a week starting July 13th through August 3rd at the Clark Family Branch.

It introduces kids ages 10 to 14 to coding and sends them home with a Chromebook at the end of the course, as an incentive to keep coding.

Emily McIlvoy runs the program and says the program has served over 360 children over the years.

She tells KMOX's Jade Aubrey more about the 4-week program at the podcast above.
