St. Louisans made their ways to the polls today — but not all of them made it peacefully.

St. Louis County election officials have reported at least five instances of fights or other violence at polling locations.

At the Natural Bridge library in Normandy, an election judge said that 40 people got into a brawl outside the polling place, but police later said there were some heated exchanges, but that they wouldn't classify it as a brawl. Cops were also called in after a person in University City threatened to kill a candidate.

In Jennings, two candidates tried to run each other in their cars — there's no word on which two candidates were involved.

In the Hazelwood central polling location, a campaign supporter was preventing voters from getting in. And in Ferguson at the JFK Community Center, two people supporting different candidates were reportedly threatening each other.

No arrests have been made in any of the incidents.

Polls closed at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. KMOX will be providing updates on KMOX.com and on social media.
