During the Y98 pregame show, Jen Siess shared thoughts from St. Louis CITY SC's newest Designated Player signing, striker Rafael Navarro. Rafa (pronounced like “Hafa”) talked about his excitement to get started with CITY, to integrate with the squad, and eventually get to play in front of the St. Louis fans who he knows gives the team lots of energy. Navarro shared how growing up soccer in Brazil influenced the happiness he feels when playing The Beautiful Game. And although there might be some pressure with his record-breaking transfer signing, Rafa knows his responsibilities and fully intends to score “a lot of goals” for club and fans with a team he’s already finding welcome with. Finally, Rafa is ready to play whenever called on by Coach Damet!
