Two girls that were reported missing Saturday in Leavenworth County in northeast Kansas, were found safe in western Oklahoma.
Aven and Nora Jackson were found Saturday afternoon near Erick, Oklahoma. Their father, Donny Jackson is in police custody.
Around 1:15 p.m. Saturday, the Leavenworth County Sheriff's Office got a 911 call from a residence, which led to the discovery of a homicide involving two deceased juvenile males inside the home and the two girls missing. Their disappearance led to the issuance of an Amber Alert.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said they believe Jackson may have been traveling to Texas or Arizona.
