Two people suffered serious injuries and traffic was backed for a couple of hours after a crash in northeast Wichita.
It happened just before 2 p.m. Saturday, on K-96 between Webb and Greenwich Road.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said a pickup truck was travelling westbound on K-96 when the driver suffered a medical issue and crossed the median, striking an eastbound vehicle head-on.
Westbound K-96 traffic was reopened at 2:45 p.m. while the eastbound lanes were back to normal around 4 p.m.
