At Tuesday's meeting, the Wichita City Council will hold a second reading on an ordinance calling for a public vote on a one percent city sales tax increase. Mayor Lily Wu tells KNSS News last week the Council voted unanimously to move forward with a special election. Wu says people can still talk about the proposal.
The Council will discuss changes to Douglas street.
Wu commented during Mondays with the Mayor on the Steve and Ted in the Morning Show on KNSS.
