One person is dead following a motorcycle accident in south Wichita.

It happened just before 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening near Pawnee and Hydraulic on east Marion Road. Investigators say the motorcyclist was southbound on Hydraulic and failed to stop at a stop sign. An SUV traveling eastbound on Marion Road, struck the motorcycle in the intersection.
The motorcycle rider, identified as a man in his 50's, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the SUV was not injured.
