Four people were injured in a shooting in Cowley County. It happened around 4:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, in a rural area of the county.

The sheriff's office says two men and two women from the Arkansas City and Winfield area drove about a mile into Oklahoma to get help.
They stopped at the 7 Clans convenience store where employees performed first aid and stopped the bleeding for one of the people. Casino security and the employees waited until EMS, and the sheriff’s office arrived.
The conditions of the people who were shot are not known. And additional information about the shooting was not immediately available. The case is under investigation.
