The great grandson of a murdered Andover woman, suspected in her death, is out of the hospital and in jail.
Tristan Weir, 23, has been charged in the death of Maryln Harvey, 81.
Andover police say Harvey picked up Weir from the Sedgwick County Jail, where he had been incarcerated for a year. On Aug. 28, Harvey was found badly injured in her apartment, near Central and Andover Road. She died at the hospital.
Bond for Weir was set at $500,000 and a public defender was requested to be appointed for his defense. His next court date was set for Oct. 24.
