A Hutchinson man was arrested after police responded to a domestic violence call. Police went to a Hutchinson home on Sunday afternoon, after a neighbor reported a woman with injuries outside of the house.
Officers arrived and observed a man and woman in the home who would not answer the door. Police forced their way into the home, and were able to determine the woman had injuries that indicated she had been strangled.
Robert Michael, 37, was taken into custody, and is being held at the Reno County Jail on suspicion of attempted second-degree murder and felony interference.
A court date for Michael has not yet been set.
