It began just before 3:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon when a woman, identified as the boy’s mother, Danielle Banzet, 31, entered the Rosehill Elementary School's day care, posing as a Social Worker.

Banzet, who had her parental rights severed by the court, was able to gain access to the boy, and exited the school, leaving in a black SUV, driven by an unknown man, who may be Brixton's biological father.

They later switched to another vehicle, a Volkswagen Jetta, which was found abandoned in Cowley County.

The public, along with several law enforcement agencies including the K.B.I, the F.B.I., The Butler County Sheriff's Department, The Rose Hill Police Department, and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, all contributed to finding the boy safe.

Charges against the couple are expected to be filed now in both Oklahoma and Kansas.
