The Kansas Highway Patrol has released the name of a pedestrian killed Friday night in southeast Wichita. The accident occurred in the south-bound lane of the Kansas Turnpike near K-15 Highway around 8:30 p.m.
The Patrol identifies the dead man as 25-year-old Domonic Andrew Gibson of Wichita. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The occupants of the car, two women from Kansas City, suffered no serious injuries.
