A McPherson man is dead following a single-vehicle accident near Burrton on Tuesday.
Emergency responders were sent to a rollover injury accident in the 4300 block of South Burmac Road around 4:50 p.m.
Cody Curl, 26, of McPherson, was driving a Ford pickup southbound when his vehicle left the roadway and rolled. Emergency responders attempted lifesaving measures on Curl, but he was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Curl was the only occupant of the vehicle.
The Harvey County Sheriff’s Office’s preliminary investigation indicates Curl’s truck left the road, struck a culvert and rolled several times before coming to rest on Burmac Road. It is not known why Curl’s truck left the road.
The accident remains under investigation
