
State of Kansas officials are reporting that 26.7% of residents have been given at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
As of Friday morning, near 24,000 more people got their first doses, bringing the total to 777,311. Among those, more than 412,000 people have also received their final doses.
The number of vaccine doses distributed in Kansas increased by nearly 6,300.
As of this morning, there have been 11 more deaths linked to COVID-19, bringing the state’s death toll during the pandemic to 4,902.
There have also been 18 new hospitalizations during the weekend linked to COVID-19.
Since Friday, 429 more Kansans tested positive for the coronavirus (8.5%), while 3,213 people tested negative (91.5%).
