Charges have been filed against an Oklahoma man in the shooting death of a Catholic Priest in Kansas.
Gary Hermesch, 66, was charged Friday with first degree murnder in the death of Father Arul Carasala, 57.
Police responded to a shots fired call just before 3:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon at the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church rectory in Seneca, Kansas.
Father Carasala was transported to a nearby hospital but later died from his injuries.
