Sedgwick County voters are heading to the polls in a local election today. County Commission Chair Ryan Baty tells KNSS News "this is a big deal" and "every vote matters" Baty says he voted for the first time in 2004, and he's voted in every primary and election since.
Baty says "we're talking about school bonds" and the future of the biggest city in Kansas. Baty says this is where governmnet works for you and and "impacts you the most, on the local level". He says "we need people engaged".
