One person died Saturday evening in a crash in east Wichita.
It happened around 10:30 p.m. at Rock Road and the westbound Kellogg frontage road. Wichita Police said a truck was heading south on Rock and ran a red light, hitting a westbound car with three people inside.
The driver of the truck had serious injuries and would later die at the scene. The driver of the car and the passengers were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The name of the victim has not been released. The crash remains under investigation.
