One woman is dead after a crash Wednesday in Reno County. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol it happened just after noon on K-96 near Arlington Rd. in Haven.
A semi truck was stopped partially blocking a lane westbound, to assist a stranded motorist. The semi was struck by an SUV. The driver of the SUV, 23-year-old Jaedyn M. Douglas of Maize, was pronounced dead at the scene. A 21-year-old man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
