Wichita Police are investigating a shooting that took place Saturday afternoon.
It happened around 4:50 p.m. in 1600 block of south Broadway. A 25-year-old man suffered a single gunshot wound to the upper thigh area. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Police say the injury was not serious.
The cause of the shooting is under investigation. Police say the victim and a witness who was inside the residence have not been cooperative. No arrests have been made in the case.
