A man is recovering after being stabbed in the neck, by his son in east Wichita. It happened just before 10:00 a.m. Friday morning in the 6,000 block of Lincoln, just east of Edgemoor.
Officers arrived and found a man in his 60's who was transported to an area hospital with what was determined to be critical, but non-life threatening injuries.
Witnesses stated that his adult son in his 30's had stabbed the man, once in the neck and ran away,"
That suspect was arrested a short time later.
