Rescue crews were alerted at around 5:15 p.m. Wednesday after a Cessna plane reported engine trouble. The pilot was able to make an emergency landing in west Wichita near K-96 and West Street.
Fire and HazMat crews responded, with multiple fire crews arriving at the scene. The pilot, the only person on board was uninjured.
