Two people died following a crash in south Wichita. It happened shortly before 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning, at 63rd and Southern, east of Seneca.
Witnesses told law enforcement that a van traveling westbound on 63rd, at around 100 mph in a 45 mph zone, crossed the center line and went airborne over rail road tracks, striking a car traveling eastbound.
The driver of the van, a man in his 30's and the driver of the car, a woman in her 70's both died at the scene.
No names have been released.
